Here's a little postcard I got at Cinque Terre. In fact, the whole place is one enormous postcard. I absolutely loved it. We took a 2-hour bus ride from Florence and visited the five villages that make up Cinque Terre. A train connects all the villages and we were able to spend time in each one.

The views in Manarola.

After climbing a staircase of 400 steps, we ate lunch at a charming ristorante in Corniglia.

Such a quaint little fishing village. In fact, the creators of Pixar's Luca drew inspiration from Cinque Terre.

This was taken in Vernazza, another of the five towns.

Every town has a church, even the small coastal villages.

SO many stairs.

I love this one with the seagull here on Riomaggiore.

Memorable day on Italy's northern coast!
