Back in June, I attended a solo writing retreat. It's as simple as it sounds; I was the only attendee. I checked myself into a hotel--distraction free--and achieved two important goals.

That's the announcement: Heart of Grit will become a trilogy.
I've decided to call it the Grit Trilogy because the word grit (a favorite of mine) will appear in each of the titles.
At first, I thought I might call it the Heart Trilogy, but then the title of Book Two dropped in my mind and everything changed. I've got the shivers with excitement! (I'll announce the title in due time.)
Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to continue Bea & Charlie's story. I'm thrilled to finally know how their paths unfold, and with theirs, my own, too.
