Vote for your favorite AI Beatrice

I've been having fun with AI. As one who is deathly afraid of artificial intelligence as a larger construct, I never thought I'd use the words "fun" and "AI" together, but here we are. The whole thing has me wondering why humans are so desperate to make themselves obsolete. But back to my point.

As part of my Book Club Bonanza Packet, I've created character profiles for ten of my most central characters. Each includes a picture, a name, and a quote indicative of their personality. Here are the profiles for Bea and Charlie:

The program I used is called "Copilot" and the process is rather fascinating. All you do is type in a prompt and within seconds, a series of four images pops up. Of those four, usually only one passes my sniff test, so I'll run the program again...and again. A word about prompts: the program doesn't always give you what you ask for, and sometimes the things it generates are downright comical. (I gave up trying to give Mayor Torrence a coonskin cap/racoon hat because the program kept generating an actual racoon on the man's head.)

At the book club I attended (where my book was showcased--woo hoo!), I showed the images to the women, and they all winced upon seeing Beatrice. The consensus was that she needs to look older, more boyish, and more rugged. (P.S. All of the Beas below turned out with elements of "pretty" to them. I think I'm OK with that.)

Here was the prompt: "Create a 15-year-old girl in the Old West with short brown hair in a dark hat dressed like a boy with a gray horse in the background."

I actually had to change the prompt to 17 and 18 years old because the 15-year old iterations looked more like 9 or 10.

We'll call this #1 "Pantene Pro Bea." Even though this isn't exactly how I imagined her, there's definitely something I like. Could be that hair! Determined to see if I could find a Bea closer to the one in my head, I ran the program umpteen more times.

These are all the best of those selections. Help me out and let me know which is your favorite. #1 is included on the ballot as well. (There's one I'm leaning towards, but I'm curious what the majority will say.)
